One laptop, one unified on-screen system for two distinctive audiences
OMEN is known for powerful computers trusted by both gamers and professionals. Two distinct audiences, each with demanding needs, required a unified and intuitive on-screen system that could serve both with precision.
Working closely with HP, we redesigned the on-screen display from the ground up. User research revealed how people navigate, adjust and optimise their monitors across gaming and work contexts, helping us define a simpler, more consistent interaction model.
This collaboration defined a new visual and interaction language for OMEN. With a clearer hierarchy, simplified navigation and faster access to essential settings, the design created a unified experience across gaming and professional use.
Since launch, the new system has been praised for elevating interaction design and strengthening HP’s position in an increasingly competitive market. So positive was the reception, the design is now being rolled out across the entire monitor portfolio
