A future concept for personalised, socially connected streaming
Native created a concept for an ambitious new digital platform. One that would cut through in a fragmented landscape - a stimulus that would help Disney stand out in a frustrating streaming world.
The central idea was a socially connected, deeply personalised experience. Taking a holistic view, Native assessed user challenges and desires along with next-gen technology opportunities. This was then synthesised into an ambitious vision, encompassing digital and physical interaction.
The design process was backed by rapid technology exploration and prototyping, ensuring a grounded, achievable north star.
The aim was to set a new benchmark for intuitive interaction alongside social connectivity, redefining how users discover and interact with content. One key opportunity was to leverage advanced technologies to enhance user engagement, such as gesture, facial recognition, mood and ambient interaction models.
This ability to deeply understand the user and background context was matched with a hyper-personalised experience, using dynamic profiling to tailor content to individual preferences - all this backed by an AI-driven recommendation engine.
Wrapped in a seamless, intuitive user experience, with gesture mapping and interactive controls, the concept was further supported by a user-driven taxonomy that enabled flexible, personalised content organisation.
Finally, the digital experience vision was supported with product concept renders that would set the Disney streaming hardware apart from the competition.
